Editing, Leadership, and Team Building

This year, I am Scot Scoop's Managing Editor, where I have the responsibility of website oversight. I am also working with Scot Scoop's editorial board to continue having a successful publication and to write Editorials.

Working in partnerships on articles and during group magazine publishing, leadership is essential to all aspects. Journalism has helped me to understand how to be an effective leader without being bossy or overbearing.

Like in leadership, the most efficient groups are the ones who enjoy each other's companies. By going to conventions in St. Louis and Boston and having a positive environment in the classroom, our publication has successfully created this.
